In 1990 after a career in the Civil Service, Stuart got his first taste of recruitment as regional office automation specialist with Kelly Services. In 2000 after ten years in various different roles in the recruitment industry, Stuart and a group of former colleagues from the industry established e-cruitnow Limited in order to create the UK's first integrated multi-posting and applicant tracking system, web-cruit
In 2001, Stuart left to pursue other business interests and joined Pertemps Group working on a number of technology company acquisitions including a small independent technology company based in Market Bosworth called e-cruitnow (you can't make this stuff up!). Stuart then set about streamlining the technology assets to develop a world-class online recruitment business and in 2006 Stuart's technical background, recruitment industry and M&A background proved invaluable in his current appointment as Managing Director of Kaonix Solutions Limited.
Kaonix Solutions Limited provides what is now regarded as the most innovative online recruitment system in the UK, as well as being the leading supploier of vacancy sourcing/matching systems in both the Welfare and Further Education Sectors. 2014 will see Kaonix double its UK operation in response to unprecedented and sustained customer demand and establish a new HR consultancy division, to complement its Technology division.
Stuart lives in Worcestershire with his wife and 3 children and when not commuting, enjoys running.
Lee has successfully streamlined the Kaonix development process using a combination of model driven architecture (MDA), domain specific languages (DSL), extreme programming (XP), agile methods and continuous delivery.
His current focus is on building highly scalable, distributed, service orientated web applications.
Lee has a MSc in computer science and a BSc. in physics, both obtained from the University of Manchester. He also has over 25 years of experience in various martial arts. In 2007 he retired as undefeated northwest amateur cruiser-weight kickboxing champion.
Paul started in the IT industry as a junior software developer in 1994 and has since then gained enormous experience with a wide range of technologies through various roles in development, hardware, software, technical support, networks, security, systems administration and IT management.
Paul joined Kaonix in 2006 and has been key in providing and improving a stable, well managed, secure IT infrastructure for both internal and external facing systems.
Paul's technology skills include Windows, Unix, Watchguard firewalls, Sophos security, Exchange, CRM, Warehouse Management Systems, Blackberry, Websense, HP, IBM and Dell servers, Navision, Symantec, Progress, Citrix and a wide range of Microsoft products. His current focus is on growing the IT infrastructure along with business expansion, updating systems to the latest platforms, and improving security and resiliance of our services.
Paul has an MCSE, MCSA and MCNR from Microsoft, and also studied computer science at Staffordshire University. Out of hours, Paul is a keen movie fan and Xbox gamer, and having completed a C25K program last year has found new enjoyment in running.
After gaining a BSc in Banking and Finance from Loughborough University, Julie worked in a number of lending and management roles in the banking and financial services industry from 1982 to 1997, during which time she successfully balanced her career and starting a family. Building on knowledge and experience acquired from this commercial background, together with newly acquired practical skills in health and wellbeing, she ran a successful home based aromatherapy business for 4 years.
Julie joined Kaonix in 2006 and as well as being responsible for Bolton, Meriden and the new London office, she also manages all back-office functions including HR, Contracts, Finance and Legal. In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit and is a passionate and competitive tennis player, recently winning the 2012 Ladies' doubles tournament at her local club.
